Main Street Bozeman

Downtown Bozeman is one of the most walkable, vibrant, and genuinely charming small-city downtowns in the American West. Stretching along historic Main Street, the downtown corridor is lined with over 100 independently-owned shops, galleries, restaurants, craft breweries, and coffee shops - all within easy walking distance of each other.

Unlike many resort towns where chains have crowded out local character, Bozeman's downtown remains stubbornly independent. You'll find fourth-generation outdoor gear shops next to cutting-edge cocktail bars, beloved diners next to James Beard-caliber kitchens, and record stores that have been spinning vinyl since the 1970s.

The food scene in particular has exploded in recent years. Bozeman now attracts serious chefs who want the quality of life that Montana offers, and the result is a dining landscape that would impress visitors from any major city. From farm-to-table fine dining to world-class sushi to beloved breakfast spots with lines out the door, downtown Bozeman delivers.
