Street parking on Main Street is always free with no time limits in most spots. Nearby lots charge during the day but become free after 5pm - perfect if you are heading out for dinner.
From June through September, the Bozeman Farmers Market runs every Saturday morning on Rouse Avenue just off Main Street. Fresh produce, local artisans, food vendors, and live music make it a beloved community event.
On select Thursday evenings in summer, Main Street closes to traffic for Music on Main - a free outdoor concert series that draws the whole community. Check the Downtown Bozeman Partnership website for the schedule.
Bozeman's most popular restaurants - especially Tutti Bene, Blackbird Kitchen, and Plonk - fill up fast, particularly on weekends. Book your dinner reservations as soon as you know your dates.
Main Street stretches about a mile from end to end. The best shops and restaurants are concentrated between Rouse Avenue and 8th Avenue. Plan at least 2-3 hours to properly explore on foot.
Just one block south of Main Street, the Emerson Center for the Arts is often overlooked by visitors. The galleries, studios, and gift shops inside are some of the best places in Bozeman to find unique, locally-made art and gifts.
